Virus and Malware Explained

 

वायरस: कंप्यूटर वायरस एक प्रकार का दुर्भावनापूर्ण सॉफ़्टवेयर होता है जो, जब निष्पादित होता है, तो खुद को अन्य कंप्यूटर प्रोग्रामों में संशोधित करके दोहराता है और अपने कोड को सम्मिलित करता है। वायरस एक कंप्यूटर से दूसरे कंप्यूटर में फैल सकता है, अक्सर ईमेल अटैचमेंट्स, संक्रमित वेबसाइट्स, या यूएसबी ड्राइव्स के माध्यम से। वे विभिन्न समस्याएं उत्पन्न कर सकते हैं, जैसे कि फ़ाइलों को खराब करना या हटाना, सिस्टम प्रदर्शन को धीमा करना, या व्यक्तिगत जानकारी चुराना।

 

- मैलवेयर: मैलवेयर एक व्यापक शब्द है जिसमें किसी भी प्रकार का सॉफ़्टवेयर शामिल है जिसे जानबूझकर कंप्यूटर, सर्वर, क्लाइंट, या कंप्यूटर नेटवर्क को नुकसान पहुंचाने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। इसमें वायरस, वर्म्स, ट्रोज़न्स, रैंसमवेयर, स्पाईवेयर, एडवेयर आदि शामिल हैं। प्रत्येक प्रकार का मैलवेयर अलग-अलग तरीके से कार्य करता है, लेकिन सभी का उद्देश्य आपके डिवाइस या डेटा को नुकसान पहुंचाना होता है।
